Magi tells of a little boy named Alladin who wanders from city to town along with his magical flute containing Djinn (genie) named Ugo. Ugo is a giant blue headed Djinn who befriends Alladin. The reason Alladin wanders is to look for other Djinn-Djinn and bring them together with Ugo, because Ugo says that there is something he must convey to his "colleagues" Djinn. Until one day, on his way to a city, he was riding on the train of a young man named Ali Baba. Ali Baba is a train driver employed to deliver goods from one city to another. In the middle of their journey, the train was attacked by a monster. Ali Baba who was busy saving wine belonging to a rich, arrogant passenger did not realize that there was a child who was thrown and swallowed by the monster. Ali Baba wants to save the child, so he sacrifices himself. Alladin who saw it, immediately called Ugo, but because his flute was clogged with sand, Ugo could not get out. Finally Alladin opened his turban which was actually a flying carpet and saved Ali Baba by throwing the wine so the monster was drunk. Ali Baba was saved, but due to Alladin's rash actions, he was in debt. The rich man threatened that Ali Baba did not pay for the wines, he would be sold as a slave.
